Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale is reportedly 'fuming' over being denied the opportunity to complete a transfer to China.

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has reportedly been left 'fuming' after failing to secure a transfer to the Chinese Super League.

After Zinedine Zidane publicly stated that Bale did not feature in his plans, the Wales international was effectively provided with the green light to find a new club.

Negotiations with Jiangsu Suning had seemingly progressed well ahead of a likely move before it was claimed on Sunday that the deal had been shelved, a result of Real wishing to receive a bigger transfer fee.

According to The Sun, Bale has been left angry with the latest developments having allegedly agreed to pen a three-year contract worth £1m per week.

The same reports over the weekend indicated that Bale is expected to stay at the Bernabeu for another season, with only a compromise over wages or any interested team being willing to pay a significant fee likely to change that outcome.
