Real Madrid may reportedly be contemplating whether to make an approach for Barcelona youngster Gavi.
The 17-year-old has already emerged as a key player at Camp Nou, making a total of 22 starts and seven substitute appearances this season.
However, the teenager's contract, which is said to contain a release clause standing at €50m, is currently due to expire at the end of 2022-23.
While Barcelona officials are keen to renew his deal as soon as possible, Marca hints at Real Madrid potentially becoming a rival for his signature.
The report says that Gavi's agent Ivan de la Pena was present at the Los Blancos offices in recent days, albeit to negotiate a different deal.
Nevertheless, speculation persists that Real could have also enquired about Gavi's future plans, despite the unlikelihood of him making a controversial transfer to the Bernabeu.
