Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen makes move to Real Madrid

Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen - the middle son of former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen - joins Real Madrid.

The middle son of former Chelsea and Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen has joined Real Madrid.

Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen, who is also a centre-forward, had been with Spanish outfit Espanyol, but the 16-year-old announced on social media that he has now agreed a deal with the European champions.

"Very excited and pleased to announce that I have signed with Real Madrid! Looking forward to the future," read a post on the teenager's Instagram account.

Eidur Gudjohnsen represented the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco during a well-travelled career - winning the La Liga title and Champions League during his time at Camp Nou.

The former striker's eldest son, Sveinn Aron Gudjohnsen, currently plays his football for Italian Serie B outfit Spezia Calcio.
