Erling Braut Haaland's father has hinted that the Borussia Dortmund striker could one day join Real Madrid as La Liga would suit his game.
The 19-year-old has cemented his status as the finest teenage talent in world football after starring for Dortmund since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in January.
Haaland has 12 goals in nine games for his new club, but things could have been different as Manchester United and Madrid were also rumoured to be in the running for his signature.
Both teams may yet make a fresh approach in the summer, and the youngster's father Alf-Inge has suggested a switch to the Bernabeu may be a good next step.
"We were linked to more than 100 teams, but it is true that the Spanish is a very good league for my son, with great teams," he told Spanish outlet AS.
"You never know if he will play in Spain. What has to happen, will happen."
Alf-Inge represented Manchester City, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest during his 22-year career as a footballer.
