Isco reportedly decides to leave Real Madrid in January amid a lack of starting opportunities under Zinedine Zidane.

Isco has reportedly decided to leave Real Madrid in January amid a lack of starting opportunities under Zinedine Zidane.

The Spaniard, who moved to the Bernabeu in 2013, has been reduced to just one start in La Liga so far this season.

With Euro 2020 only eight months away, Isco has realised the importance of playing as many minutes as possible ahead of the finals next summer.

According to Calcio Mercato, the midfielder will seek a move away from the Bernabeu in January if he continues to miss out on the starting XI.

Moreover, Gareth Bale, who came moments away from moving to China over the summer, has also reportedly resolved to leave Los Blancos after being left out of the squad which faced Club Brugge last month.

It is claimed that Arsenal, who did sign Madrid player Dani Ceballos on loan, also made a bid worth £40m for Isco in the summer.
