Real Madrid's Joselu has moved to Hoffenheim after finding his first-team opportunities limited at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The striker joins the German side for a reported figure of €6m but it is understood Real have a buyback clause for somewhere in the region of €9m to 12m.
The move leaves Castilla (Real Madrid B) without any recognised strikers after Alvaro Morata was promoted to the first team by Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho.
Hoffenheim begin their Bundesliga campaign away to Borussia Monchengladbach on August 25.
