Kylian Mbappe is reportedly in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible short-term contract extension.
The 23-year-old is running down the final few months of his existing PSG deal and is free to begin discussions with foreign clubs amid persistent Real Madrid speculation.
Mbappe has ruled out a move to the Bernabeu during the current transfer window, but the expectation is that the former Monaco starlet will join Carlo Ancelotti's side ahead of the 2022-23 season.
However, Telefoot claims that PSG and Mbappe are in negotiations over a short-term deal, with the striker potentially willing to put pen to paper on a one or two-year extension.
The report adds that Real Madrid are unfazed by the rumours surrounding a new contract, with Los Blancos still confident that Mbappe will make the switch to the Spanish capital.
Mbappe boasts 18 goals and 15 assists from 26 games in all competitions for PSG this term and is preparing to face his admirers in the last-16 of the Champions League next month.
