Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has admitted that he would like to play alongside Kylian Mbappe at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Blancos are eager to secure the services of the France international on a free transfer, taking advantage of the forward's lack of fresh agreement at Paris Saint-Germain.
While PSG have insisted that they remain confident of successfully negotiating fresh terms, Real are the favourites, and talk has only intensified ahead of the second leg of the Champions League last-16 clash between the two clubs.
When quizzed on the matter at a press conference, Modric acknowledged that he would approve of Mbappe making the switch to the Spanish giants.
The veteran Croatian said: "We want to play with great players, Kylian is one of those. Of course I'd like to play with him, let's see.
"Difficult to talk about other players, clubs get angry, can interpret it badly, but I don't think a player exists that doesn't want him on their team."
Mbappe's last-gasp strike in the first fixture has given PSG a potentially-pivotal advantage ahead of Wednesday's fixture.
