Two lawyers representing Neymar have reportedly held talks with Barcelona officials as the Brazilian draws nearer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
The 27-year-old, who moved to PSG in 2017 for a world-record £198m, has made it clear to the Ligue 1 side that he wants a return to Spain this month.
Barcelona are said to be the frontrunners to sign Neymar having pursued the deal all summer, but Real Madrid have also been credited with making a late effort to sign the forward.
According to Gol TV, cameras recorded two of Neymar's legal representatives entering Barcelona's club offices as talks regarding an exit intensify.
PSG sporting director Leonardo revealed last week that negotiations over Neymar's move were "more advanced than before", indicating that progress towards a deal was being made.
The Catalans are reluctant to pay a full cash sum for Neymar having spent £229.5m already this summer and will reportedly offer Philippe Coutinho as part of the deal.
