Paris Saint-Germain say that they have not made any moves for Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Paris Saint-Germain have denied that they are planning a move for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was reported on Wednesday that les Parisiens were mulling over a sensational move for the Portuguese winger, as well as Real boss Jose Mourinho.

However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has now clarified the situation, insisting that they have not made any move for the player.

"I haven't talked with anyone from Real Madrid," said Al-Khelaifi. "Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player, but a Real Madrid player."

Sporting director Leonardo added: "Look, we haven't met anyone. As you know, at this moment we can't talk about the transfer market.

"This is not the time to think about the transfer market. Let's talk about the good things we have done on the pitch so far."

Ronaldo has struck 11 goals in nine league games this season.
