Real Madrid and Barcelona will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 16 times in 30 appearances for Antonio Conte's side in all competitions.
Barca have allegedly identified the Argentina international as their number one target to replace Luis Suarez, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Madrid are also firmly in the race.
As a result, the Spanish giants are reportedly preparing to battle for the South American, who is believed to have a release clause of €111m (£94.6m) in his deal at San Siro.
Manchester United and Manchester City have also previously been linked with Martinez, although the centre-forward is believed to favour a move to Spain.
As well as seemingly battling for the striker's signature this summer, Madrid and Barca will lock horns on the field in La Liga this weekend as the Spanish champions prepare to travel to the Bernabeu.
