Real Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Boca Juniors midfielder Wilmar Barrios.
Barrios, who impressed for Colombia at the 2018 World Cup, only recently signed a new contract at Boca, although his release clause stands at a modest £21m.
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a move for the midfielder during the summer, but it is understood that Boca ultimately blocked the South American's exit.
According to Marca, scouts from Madrid have been watching Barrios in recent weeks, and the European champions could make a January approach for the energetic midfielder as competition for Casemiro.
Barrios joined Boca from Colombian outfit Deportes Tolima in 2016 and has made over 50 appearances for his current club.
