Real Madrid target Eduardo Camavinga will remain at Rennes for the next 12 months, according to the French club's president.

Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has revealed that Eduardo Camavinga will not be sold during the next transfer window.

Having already established himself as a key player at the French outfit, the 17-year-old has been linked with a switch to a bigger club, including Real Madrid.

However, despite teams in Ligue 1 said to be eager to raise funds due to the coronavirus pandemic, it appears that Camavinga will be remaining at Roazhon Park.

At a news conference, Holveck said: "We have agreed with Eduardo that he will stay with us next season.

"He is a smart player and he knows where his sporting interest would be best served at the moment. Irrespective of that, we haven't actually received any offers for him."

Camavinga has two years remaining on his contract with Rennes.
