Real Madrid have reportedly joined the list of clubs wanting to sign prolific Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
The 22-year-old Argentine forward has scored 16 times in 23 games for club and country this season, forming a dynamic partnership at Inter with Romelu Lukaku.
While the former Racing Club striker had been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, where he could line up alongside compatriot Lionel Messi, reports in Spain now indicate that Real have a stronger chance of signing him next summer.
Madrid are known to want an additional striker to bolster their attacking options, with Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Erling Braut Haaland and Mauro Icardi all regularly linked with the capital side in recent months.
It is now thought that Martinez is a serious target, as Zinedine Zidane is believed to be eyeing up a partnership between the Argentine and Karim Benzema, although the striker has previously indicated that he is happy to continue his development with Inter.
