Real Madrid reportedly have no plans to sign a new right-back during the summer transfer window, keeping their trust in Dani Carvajal.

Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of signing a new right-back during the summer transfer window.

Dani Carvajal has been the long-term incumbent at the Santiago Bernabeu, making a total of 315 appearances since the start of the 2013-14 campaign.

However, the 30-year-old has not always convinced for Los Blancos this season, leading to speculation that Carlo Ancelotti or club officials may look to bring in a younger alternative.

According to Marca, the current plan is to keep faith in Carvajal, with Alvaro Odriozola acting as competition after his loan period with Fiorentina.

Odriozola's career at Real had looked over after at one stage, but the 26-year-old has made a positive impact during his 20 outings in Serie A.

Previous reports have suggested that the La Liga leaders may be prepared to consider offers for fellow right-sided player Lucas Vasquez.
