Real Madrid reportedly place a £72m valuation on Gareth Bale ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

Real Madrid have reportedly placed a £72m valuation on Welsh attacker Gareth Bale.

Bale has seemingly been told by Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane that he will not be in his plans for the 2019-20 campaign.

However, it is widely thought that the 29-year-old will refuse to leave Madrid this summer as his lucrative contract still has three years left to run.

According to ESPN, the Spanish giants will listen to offers in the region of £72m for the Welshman, who has been linked with a return to Tottenham Hotspur.

The same report claims that Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua are prepared to match Bale's wages, but the attacker is not interested in a move to China.

Bale has scored 102 goals in 231 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, helping the club win 13 trophies during his six seasons in the Spanish capital.
