Former Liverpool and Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa is set to sign for AC Milan, according to a report.
The 33-year-old left Real at the end of last season after his contract expired with the European Cup winners.
However, Gazzetta World cites reports in Spain, suggesting that the ex-international is keen on moving to the Rossoneri despite interest from Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos.
It is thought that Milan are keen to add experience to their defence following the departures of Alex and Philippe Mexes this summer.
Arbeloa spent seven seasons at Real after joining the Spanish giants from Liverpool in 2009.
