Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has insisted that he is "very happy" in the East Midlands despite being linked with a sensational move to Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old, who has kept six clean sheets for the Foxes this season, is reportedly being lined up as a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas.
"Being mentioned in the same sentence as Real Madrid is an honour, but that's as far as I've heard," said Schmeichel.
"People have been calling me and texting me but I'm not focusing on that.
"I'm very happy here where I'm playing week in, week out and can't ask for more than that."
Leicester are currently top of the Championship table.
