Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva has claimed that he expects to return to Real Madrid next summer following a loan spell at Marseille.
The 22-year-old made the move to the Bernabeu from Cruzeiro in January, but he failed to nail down a first-team spot in Madrid and was allowed to depart for France before the end of the summer transfer window.
Silva, however, only intends to stay in France on a temporary basis as he targets a spot in the Real Madrid first team for the 2016-17 season.
"I intend to have a good season in France, improve, go to the Olympic Games [next summer] and return to Real Madrid," Silva told Globoesporte.
Silva has made four appearances for Brazil's Under-21 team.
