Lucas Silva has insisted that he will remain committed to Cruzeiro, but conceded that he wants to secure a 'dream move' to Real Madrid.
The Brazilian midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent weeks, but Real Madrid have thus far failed to agree a deal with Silva's Brazilian club.
The 21-year-old is due to return to pre-season training with Cruzeiro on January 7, but it is understood that Los Blancos could make a move at the start of the month.
"I have to rejoin Cruzeiro training in January. There has been a lot of speculation and rumors about Real Madrid. In January, the transfer window opens in Europe and from there on, anything can happen," Silva told Globoesporte.
"When I say that the transfer window isn't open yet, I refer to the speculation. There are a lot of news and questions about Real Madrid. All I can say is that there's nothing definitive.
"I'm a Cruzeiro player, I had a great year and now anything can happen. [A move to Real Madrid] is a dream and I think it would be a step forward."
Cruzeiro reportedly value Silva in the region of £12m.
