Isco withdraws from Spain squad

An ankle injury rules Isco out of Spain's international friendly with Chile on Tuesday.

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has withdrawn from the Spain squad with an ankle injury.

The 21-year-old was left out of Friday's World Cup qualifier against Finland and will now miss the international friendly against Chile on Tuesday.

After undergoing tests, the Los Blancos star will return to the Spanish club to continue his recovery.

Isco arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu from Malaga this summer for a fee of €30m (£25.2m).
