Real Sociedad have been boosted by the news that on-loan Queens Park Rangers midfielder Esteban Granero has returned to light training.
The 26-year-old has been out of action since September after picking up a cruciate ligament injury, which was expected to rule him out of action for the remainder of the season.
However, the Spaniard was reportedly pictured undergoing light jogging during a training session with Sociedad on Tuesday morning.
It is understood that Sociedad do not expect to have the midfielder available for first-team action until the beginning of April, but could make his move from QPR permanent in the summer.
