Real Sociedad are reportedly close to appointing David Moyes as their new manager.
The Scot has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United back in April.
Sociedad dismissed Jagoba Arrasate last week after they picked up just six points from 10 league matches under him this season.
Former Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella and former West Bromwich Albion head coach Pepe Mel were also understood to be in contention for the job.
However, Moyes has verbally agreed to join the La Liga club and will sign a three-year deal later today, according to AS.
Moyes has also managed Everton and Preston North End during his career.
