David Moyes: 'We did not deserve anything'

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes claims that his side deserved to lose Monday's La Liga clash at Elche.

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has conceded that his team deserved to lose Monday's La Liga clash against Elche.

A first-half effort from Jonathas proved the difference between the two teams as Sociedad's poor away record continued.

"We didn't play well and made a mistake that cost us the game, but we were not able to create chances and I've no complaints," he told reporters.

"The players ran a lot in search of the equaliser but we lacked quality and it wasn't a question of attitude. Elche deserved to win the game. They created more and were the better side."

Sociedad, who have won just once on the road in the league all season, currently sit 12th in the table.
