Preview: Real Valladolid vs. Real Sociedad

Sports Mole looks ahead to Monday's La Liga encounter between Real Valladolid and Real Sociedad.

Real Valladolid welcome Real Sociedad to the Jose Zorrilla stadium on Monday in what could prove to be an important game.

Neither side has a win in their last two games but it is Valladolid who are in better recent form, with four points from the last seven available.

Valladolid have only lost once at home this season, while Sociedad have lost all of their away games, scoring just twice on the road.

A win for the home team would take them within a point of the European places, while Sociedad will be looking to ease any relegation worries with all three points.

Sociedad will be without midfielders Asier Illarramendi and Markel Bergara through suspension, while Valladolid will be hoping Lluis Sastre can return in time for Monday's game.

Recent form:

Real Valladolid:: LLLWDL

Real Sociedad: LWLWLL

Possible lineups:

Real Valladolid: Jimenez, Rukavina, Valiente, Sereno, Baraja, Oscar, Ramos, Ebert, Navas, Manucho, Bueno

Real Sociedad: Zubikarai, Carlos Martinez, Inigo Martinez, De La Bella, Estrada, Xabi Prieto, Castro, Pardo, Ros, Greizmann, Vela

Sports Mole says: 2-0
