Video: Tim Cahill makes Major League Soccer history

Watch Tim Cahill score the fastest goal in Major League Soccer history for the New York Red Bulls.

Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill made Major League Soccer history last night when he scored for the New York Red Bulls after just seven seconds against Houston Dynamo.

The Australian controlled a long pass from Dax McCarty, before sending a half-volley beyond the reach of home goalkeeper Tally Hall.

Cahill's goal has beaten the previous record belonging to Dwayne De Rosario, which had stood since 2003.
