Nancy have registered a 2-0 away win against Rennes in Ligue 1, thanks to two goals in the second half.

Both sides created chances in the opening 45 minutes but failed to take them, and the pattern continued into the second half.

However, the game burst into life with 11 minutes left on the clock when Thomas Ayasse turned in Yassine Jebbour's cross with his right foot from the right side of the box.

Djamel Bakar secured the points for Nancy on 89 minutes when he fired in from outside the Rennes box after being teed up by Benjamin Moukandjo.

Nancy remain at the foot of the table with 25 points from 30 matches, while Rennes are now 10th.
