Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane has said that the team should make the Euro 2012 finals after their 4-0 win against Estonia in the first leg of their playoff.
The Los Angeles Galaxy forward scored twice for Giovanni Trapattoni's side as they scored four vital away goals in Tallinn.
When asked if the tie was over, Keane told Sky Sports News: "It should be by the way we performed here tonight. We can't take anything for granted but if we don't reach the finals we'll be devastated.
"We obviously came here to get a result but I don't think anyone would have thought what result that was. We got the early goal and managed to kick on from there."
The second leg is at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday.
