Republic of Ireland goalkeeping coach Alan Kelly believes that Robbie Keane could make as many as 150 appearances for his country.
The 32-year-old will set a new record of 126 caps when he leads out his side for the World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands on Friday, but Kelly has backed the Los Angeles Galaxy forward to continue.
"Why not? Look at him, he's running around like a spring chicken. I wish I had his knees," Kelly told Eurosport when asked if Keane could reach 150 appearances.
"You have to have that desire and enthusiasm. Everybody said about him travelling over all the way for the England game and getting away from the Galaxy just because he wants to play in the games. That's infectious, to me anyway, and hopefully it is to the rest of the lads."
Keane made his Ireland debut in 1998.
