Novara came from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw with Genoa at the Silvio Piola this afternoon.
Genoa striker Rodrigo Palacio broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes after fullback Emiliano Moretti found the Argentinian inside the area. Palacio then found the back of the net from close range to put his side ahead.
Andrea Caracciolo came closest for the home side with 15 minutes gone, but was unable to hit the back of the net.
Former Genoa man Giuseppe Mascara put the hosts on the board with just over 20 minutes to go in the second half, levelling the score with his shot from distance.
