Kevin Nicholson's injury-time goal has earned Torquay United a 1-0 home win against Barnet.
In a dull first half, neither side was able to make their mark on the game.
The hosts upped the pressure after the break, but a lack of finishing in front of goal saw the match heading for a goalless draw.
However, Nicholson's goal in the 94th minute has given United's promotion hopes a boost.
Barnet host high-flying Cheltenham next Friday, while Torquay travel to Accrington Stanley.
