Half-Time Report: Rodrigo Taddei, Adam Ljajic strikes give Roma lead

Roma lead Atalanta 2-0 at half time courtesy of goals from Rodrigo Taddei and Adam Ljajic.

Roma hold a 2-0 lead over Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at half time.

The hosts took the lead through Rodrigo Taddei's 13th-minute strike, with the midfielder being picked out by Francesco Totti before finding the top corner from distance.

Totti almost got on the scoresheet himself shortly after, peeling away from his marker to meet Maicon's cross which he fired just wide of the target.

Roma continued pressing for a second goal and they nearly found one when Taddei looked to beat the keeper with a fine effort, but the ball sailed inches wide of the post.

The Giallorossi did double their lead on the brink of half time, however, with Adam Ljajic striking a low shot into the bottom corner of the net to make it 2-0.
