Roma coach Rudi Garcia has revealed that he was pleased with Ashley Cole's attitude during his debut in a friendly against Indonesia's Under-23 team.
Cole left Chelsea earlier this month to sign a two-year contract with the Serie A outfit, and the former England international's new boss was happy with his 30-minute outing in Trigoria.
The 50-year-old is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying: "I liked the attitude of the new players like Cole and Salih Ucan. They stepped on to the field with confidence."
Cole has recently accused English players of "living in the comfort zone", with none of England's 23-man World Cup squad plying their trade abroad.
