Former Roma manager Luciano Spalletti is reportedly being lined up for a return to the Serie A club.
The Giallorossi have failed to win their last four games, and a 1-1 draw with Torino on Saturday afternoon saw them lose further ground at the top of the table.
Their poor run of form has led to reports that Rudi Garcia could be facing the sack, and according to the Corriere dello Sport, Spalletti has been contacted by the club about a potential return.
Spalletti was previously been in charge of the Rome outfit during a four-year spell from 2005 to 2009, where he helped them to back-to-back triumphs in the Coppa Italia.
