Roma manager Luis Enrique will reportedly announce his resignation this weekend.

Roma manager Luis Enrique has told his players that he will step down at the end of the season, according to a report.

Sky Sport Italia understands that the former Barcelona B coach will announce his resignation at a press conference this Saturday (May 12).

The 42-year-old has been under fire at the Stadio Olimpico after failing to guide Roma to European football.

Rumours that he is to leave the club intensified this week when photographs taken during a training session showed him addressing backroom staff.

Ex-Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is the favourite to replace Enrique having reportedly held talks with Roma in February.
