Roma have one final chance to replace Juventus at the top of Serie A before the winter break when they host AC Milan in the Italian capital on Saturday evening.
Juventus are currently one point ahead at the top of the table, but Roma appear to be better equipped than ever to ensure that the champions do not storm away with the title.
Last Sunday it was a goal from Radja Nainggolan which secured the points against Geona, despite the fact that Rudi Garcia's side were short of their best in the game.
Francesco Totti was on the bench for that game, but he could return to the side for the meeting with Milan, while Daniele De Rossi is available again after suspension.
Milan were back to winning ways last weekend, too, as Jeremy Menez and Giacomo Bonaventura both scored in a 2-0 win over Napoli.
That victory has raised hopes of a challenge for a Champions League spot this season, and Filippo Inzaghi may replace the injured Adil Rami after the impressive display against Rafael Benitez's side.
