Preview: Roma vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole looks ahead to Sunday's Serie A clash between Roma and Inter Milan.

Roma can put pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus by taking all three points from this Sunday's clash against Roberto Mancini's Inter Milan side.

Three points separate Roma from Juve in the table, but that could stretch further if the Old Lady beat rivals Torino in their clash earlier in the day.

Roma were held to a 1-1 draw by CSKA Moscow in the Champions League in midweek, but they have secured back-to-back wins in their last two league fixtures.

They have lost just twice in Serie A this season so far, while Mancini is searching for his first league win following last weekend's 1-1 draw with local rivals AC Milan - his first since returning to Inter as manager earlier this month.

However, Mancini has tasted victory already with Inter in the Europa League - he oversaw his side come from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory over Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk with 10 men on Thursday evening.

Three points against Rudi Garcia's Roma could be vital for Inter as they currently reside five points adrift of a Champions League spot.

In this fixture last season, neither side could break the deadlock and the game ended in a goalless draw, but Roma secured a 3-0 triumph on away turf earlier in the 2013-14 season.

Francesco Totti and Gervinho are likely to provide attacking threat up top for Roma, while Pablo Osvaldo could return to Inter the side, but is expected to start on the bench.
