New signing Kevin Strootman found the net as Roma triumphed 3-1 over the MLS All-Stars team at Sporting Park, Kansas.
The Dutch midfielder, signed from PSV Eindhoven for £15m, ran onto Alessandro Florenzi's through-ball to put the Giallorossi into a fourth-minute lead.
It was nearly 2-0 just moments later when Tallo Gadji tested Raul Fernandez from distance, but the FC Dallas keeper was able to divert it onto the post.
Florenzi rammed home the Italian club's second goal two minutes into the second half, before Michael Bradley combined with Strootman to set up Tallo in the 69th minute.
Omar Gonzalez grabbed a consolation goal for the All-Stars in time added on.
