Serie A side Roma are reportedly close to capturing the services of Daniel De Silva from Perth Glory.
The 17-year-old, who became the Glory's youngest ever player when he made his debut aged just 16, is believed to be valued at around £1.3m by the A-League outfit.
Talks between the two parties are at advanced stage, although De Silva will not move to Europe until he turns 18 next March, according to Fairfax Media.
De Silva had been close to joining Premier League team Everton last year, but the deal fell through over work permit complications.
