Marko Basa has committed his future to Lille by signing a new contract with the Ligue 1 club.
The centre-back's previous deal had been due to expire next summer, which had resulted in links with a free transfer to Serie A outfit Roma.
However, the 31-year-old has now put an end to that speculation, having tied himself to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy until 2019.
Basa joined his current employers from Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow in 2011.
