Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has signed a new five-year contract with the Serie A giants.
The 27-year-old had three years left to run on his previous contract, but he has agreed fresh terms that will keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until 2020.
"It was something we both wanted," Nainggolan told Roma TV. "I am happy and so is the club. We both took a step forward and found the best solution for everyone.
"Now we must start from scratch and do better than last season. We are preparing physically to win something important this year."
Nainggolan joined Roma from Cagliari Calcio last January and has established himself as a key player under manager Rudi Garcia.
