Report: Yevhen Konoplyanka close to Roma switch

Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is reportedly on the verge of joining Roma.

The 25-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the Ukrainians and he almost joined Liverpool last January, before the transfer collapsed.

According to Football Italia, various reports from his home country claim that he will undergo a medical with Roma on Wednesday.

Dnipro owner Andrei Stetsenko has also confirmed that talks have taken place between the two clubs and that an agreement has almost been reached.
