Roma have completed the signing of goalkeeper Morgan de Sanctis from Napoli on a two-year deal.
The 36-year-old's agent claimed on Saturday that the keeper would "almost certainly" leave Napoli following the arrival of Pepe Reina.
The former Italian international has moved to the capital for a fee in the region of £450,000.
De Sanctis told La Repubblica Sport: "It's all agreed. I'm here to work hard and to have a great season."
De Sanctis spent four seasons at Napoli, helping them win the Italian Cup in 2012.
