Meanwhile, Boro make the trip to the New York Stadium having already guaranteed a place in the top four of the standings, ensuring a home second leg in the playoffs.

Blackburn Rovers play host to Luton Town on Monday evening knowing that they can realistically ill-afford defeat if they want to give themselves every chance of making the Championship playoffs.

From Luton's perspective, they require one win from the final two games to guarantee third in the table, although they have already assured themselves of a home second leg in the playoff semi-finals.

Given the winless run that they have recently embarked on, responding with a win over one of the division's form sides will not be easy for Blackburn. Nevertheless, we are backing Rovers to earn a share of the spoils, the bare minimum as they bid to remain relevant in the promotion race.
