Rotherham United assistant manager Paul Raynor has admitted that the club are unsure of the extent of Daniel Nardiello's hamstring injury.
The experienced forward suffered the strain in Saturday's 1-0 friendly defeat to Huddersfield Town, with Raynor revealing that Nardiello will be assessed on Sunday.
"He felt his hamstring a little bit so we brought him off as a precaution and now we'll just be able to see how it settles down overnight and assess him again on Sunday," Raynor told reporters at a press conference.
"Hopefully it will be good news, but it's a bit of a concern when a player goes down clutching their hamstring like that."
The 30-year-old started his career at Manchester United.
