Roma have agreed to pay between €12m and €15m (£10.1m and £12.7m) for Saint-Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the player's father.
The 23-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, is currently the second-top goalscorer in Ligue 1 with 17 goals.
According to reports, Fiorentina offered €10m (£8.4m) last week, but his father and agent revealed that the Giallorossi have jumped to the head of the queue.
"Roma are prepared to meet Saint-Etienne's demands, which are between €12m and €15m," Football Italia quotes his father as saying.
Aubameyang moved to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard from AC Milan in 2011.
