Montreal Impact come from behind to defeat San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 in the MLS on Saturday.

Montreal Impact came from behind to defeat San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 on Saturday in a Major League Soccer game that saw three red cards.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men after just 21 minutes when Steven Lenhart and Hassoun Camara were sent off for clashing with each other inside the Impact penalty box.

Chris Wondolowski slotted home the resulting penalty in the 23rd minute, but San Jose's lead lasted just two minutes as Italian striker Marco Di Vaio equalised from close range.

Impact went ahead on 64 minutes when Lamar Neagle found the target from distance, and wrapped up the points eight minutes later with their third goal.

Jason Hernandez was sent off for bringing down Di Vaio inside the San Jose penalty area, and Patrice Bernier scored from the resulting spot-kick to round off a 3-1 victory for Impact.
