San Lorenzo will aim to continue their unbeaten start to the Argentine Primera Division season on Sunday, when they host Tigre in the fifth round of league fixtures.
A victory last time out saw the hosts climb to eighth spot at this early stage, while their visitors sit 20th following back-to-back defeats.
Match preview
After failing to qualify in the top four of their first-phase group in the new Argentinian campaign, San Lorenzo headed into the Primera Division hoping for a better run, and they began at home to Independiente.
Ruben Insua's side played out a 1-1 draw in that game, and a goalless stalemate away at Newell's Old Boys followed before they shared the points in a dramatic contest with Arsenal Sarandi.
After going behind in the first half, the Azulgrana turned the game on its head as Nestor Ortigoza, Jalil Elias and Ivan Leguizamon fired them into a 3-1 lead, only for them to squander that as two Cristian Colman goals within three minutes forced a share of the spoils.
Still in search of a first league win, Insua's side travelled to take on Central Cordoba last time out, and they were successful in putting a first three-point haul on the board, with Leguizamon and Adam Bareiro scoring second-half goals in a 2-0 triumph.
Now sitting eighth and unbeaten after four games with six points to their name, San Lorenzo will look to build on last week's win to move closer to the top end of the division as it begins to truly take shape.
Tigre, meanwhile, will make the trip aiming to bounce back from consecutive defeats in the top flight after making a positive start following their journey to the final of the first phase of the season.
They began with a trip to take on Union, and, after going behind early in the second half, they were able to quickly bounce back, as Facundo Colidio hit an equaliser and Diego Sosa scored a 70th-minute winner.
After Mateo Retegui salvaged a draw in the following encounter with Barracas Central, El Matador faced the tough test of a trip to Boca Juniors, and they were eventually beaten 5-3 with Retegui's second-half brace not enough to inspire a late turnaround.
Looking to rebound, they hosted Banfield last time out but again came out empty-handed as Jesus Datolo hit the only goal of the game in the final 10 minutes, seeing Tigre drop into the bottom 10 of the 28-team division as a result.
They will now aim to stop the rot and return to winning ways on their travels at the weekend.

Team News
San Lorenzo will likely be without defender Cristian Zapata and midfielder Francisco Perruzzi, as the pair continue spells in the treatment room.
Insua may look to field an unchanged starting XI after their away win last time out, with Augusto Batalla seemingly displacing veteran Sebastian Torrico in goal.
One change could be the introduction of Ivan Leguizamon, who scored his second goal of the season on the bench in that victory, while Adam Bareiro should again lead the line after also getting on the scoresheet.
Tigre's attack will be spearheaded by Mateo Retegui, who has scored three goals in four top-flight appearances so far this term.
He could again be supported by Inter Milan loanee Facundo Colidio, who found the net on the opening day of the Primera Division campaign and has since provided two assists.
Further back, Abel Luciatti and Victor Cabrera should again partner up at the heart of a back four.
San Lorenzo possible starting lineup:
Batalla; Gattoni, Melli, James; Elias, Rosane, Leguizamon, Fernandez; Cerutti, Bareiro, Braida
Tigre possible starting lineup:
Marinelli; Blondel, Cabrera, Luciatti, Demartini; Prediger, Fernandez; Colidio, Zabala, Obando; Retegui
We say: San Lorenzo 2-1 Tigre
While they have often struggled to turn draws into wins recently, San Lorenzo have enjoyed a stronger start to the regular campaign than that of their visitors.
With home advantage and boosted confidence from their victory last time out, we anticipate the hosts making it two wins on the bounce with a narrow triumph at the weekend.
