Jens Keller optimistic about chances of upsetting Chelsea

Schalke 04 manager Jens Keller believes that "anything is possible" ahead of their Champions League meeting with Chelsea.

Schalke 04 manager Jens Keller has claimed that people should not be too quick to write off his side ahead of their Champions League clash with Chelsea on Wednesday.

After making a disappointing start to their Bundesliga campaign, Schalke's chances of causing an upset at Stamford Bridge have been dismissed by some, but Keller is hoping that his players can hit top form at the start of Group G.

"All we can do is run, support each other and work really hard," the Schalke boss told reporters. "We have to have a really good day to compete at this level.

"They're a top team and with the new acquisitions they're even more of a top team, who will definitely have a say in competition. They will be well up there. But I'm a very positive person and you've got to remember anything possible in football.

"In football, anything is possible."

Chelsea recorded two 3-0 victories when the sides met at the same stage last season.
