Schalke 04 summer signing Kevin-Prince Boateng continues for his new side for their Bundesliga trip to Mainz 05.

There is just one change for Schalke from their 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen before the international break, with Felipe Santana being replaced by Benedikt Howedes.

For the hosts, Shinji Okazaki moved slightly further forward to lead the line, with Christoph Moritz playing in-behind.
